Credit repair and business credit are two different things, and mixing them up is one of the most expensive mistakes a business owner can make. This page explains what each one actually is, so you can tell which one you need.
What Credit Repair Is
Credit repair is the process of correcting your personal credit reports. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable must be corrected or removed by the credit bureaus. Credit repair means identifying those items, disputing them properly, and rebuilding healthy habits around what remains.
What credit repair cannot do is remove accurate, verifiable negative information. Any company promising to erase a legitimate debt or create a new credit identity is describing something that does not work and is not legal. Legitimate work is about accuracy and rebuilding, not erasure.
What Business Credit Is
Business credit is a separate credit profile built under your company’s EIN rather than your Social Security number. It is scored by business bureaus, primarily Dun & Bradstreet, Experian Business, and Equifax Business, and it is what lets a company qualify for vendor accounts, business credit cards, credit lines, and loans on its own strength.
It is not repaired; it is built. Most businesses have no profile at all until someone deliberately creates one.

Where Ebony Credit Solutions Focuses
We work with entrepreneurs on business credit and funding: setting your company up so lenders recognize it, establishing tradelines that report to the business bureaus, and positioning the business to qualify for credit lines and loans, even when banks have already said no.
If your personal reports contain errors that are holding your business back, we will tell you honestly during your consultation, because personal credit is often still reviewed on early business applications.
